


Miriam Tenner is a Chicago-born filmmaker and founder of Mild Art Productions, dedicated to crafting bold, meaningful narratives that resonate. She began her creative journey pursuing fashion design in high school, attending programs at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Rhode Island School of Design before pivoting to filmmaking in college. Miriam refined her storytelling and production skills through studies at Sarah Lawrence College—where she also studied economics—NYU Tisch’s Kanbar Institute, and Columbia College Chicago. Her debut short film, Cash and Quinn, written during her time at NYU and independently produced later, exemplifies her commitment to character-driven stories that challenge and engage audiences.
With extensive experience in creative development, packaging, and production strategy, Miriam leads Mild Art Productions by balancing artistic vision with practical execution. Alongside her filmmaking career, she has contributed to philanthropic initiatives, including partnerships and fundraising efforts supporting meaningful causes. Miriam is currently developing several exciting new projects that continue to push boundaries and explore compelling narratives
